Scottish Theme Kits

The Lion Rampant

The Lion Rampant is Scotland’s royal flag. Our kit is on 14-count Aida and measures 7 x 5 inches (180 x 127 mm)

A Prayer from Iona

Available only from ourselves and the Abbey Shop on Iona, this kit has a four-colour Celtic knotwork border surrounding the words of the Prayer:

"Holy Spirit of God, brooding over Iona's wild restless waters, laughing with the wind's fury or gentle touch,
rising with the sun and settling amidst the stars -
Be present here among us".

The Wild Goose illustrated in the kit is a Celtic symbol of the Holy Spirit, and serves as the logo of The Iona Community. It is a copyright design and is used in this kit by kind permission of The Iona Community

The kit measures 6 x 8¼ inches (150 x 210 mm) when stitched and is supplied with 27-count Zweigart Linda evenweave material.
